Ingredients

50 grams of Red beans

600 grams of Water

1 tablespoon of Brown sugar

100 grams of White rice

40 grams of Water

325 grams of Bean soup

80 grams of Brown sugar

teaspoon of Salt

1 Panda leaf

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, place the red beans and cover with water, bringing to a simmer for about an hour until they are tender.

Step 2 : Once ready, drain and reserve the cooking liquid.

Step 3 : Add a tablespoon of sugar to the cooked beans and mix well.

Step 4 : Then, brush porcelain cups of 55 ml capacity with oil, place one spoonful of filling in each, and put them in the steamer.

Step 5 : Meanwhile, drain the soaked rice and blend it with 40 grams of water.

Step 6 : Pour this mixture into a pot and cook over high heat for 2 minutes, then add the red bean soup.

Step 7 : Incorporate an additional 125 grams of red bean soup, mix, and strain the preparation.

Step 8 : To the strained mixture, add another 200 grams of red bean soup, along with sugar, salt, and panda leaf, and cook over heat until the sugar dissolves.

Step 9 : Fill a pot halfway with water and place over low heat.

Step 10 : Cook the previous mixture in a double boiler for 45 seconds, then pour into ceramic vessels, filling them up to 90%.

Step 11 : Steam for 12 minutes over medium heat.

Step 12 : Remove the Put Chai Ko from the cups with the help of a knife, insert 2 bamboo sticks into each, and serve.
