2 Large apples

2 Bananas

25 grams of Flour

2 Eggs

500 milliliters of Oil

2 tablespoons of Sesame seeds

1 Cold water bowl

Ice cubes

200 grams of Sugar

Mint leaves

Preparation

Step 1 : The recipe begins by peeling the apples and cutting them in half, then removing the core with a cookie cutter.

Step 2 : Each half is cut into 4 equal pieces, setting them aside.

Step 3 : Next, peel and slice the bananas into pieces approximately 4 cm thick, also setting them aside.

Step 4 : In a bowl, prepare the batter by mixing the flour, cornstarch, eggs, and a tablespoon of oil.

Step 5 : Whisk with a wire whisk until obtaining a smooth mixture.

Step 6 : Using a skewer, thread each piece of fruit and dip into the batter, letting excess drip off.

Step 7 : In a skillet with plenty of hot oil, fry the fruits over low heat until golden.

Step 8 : Then, remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Step 9 : In a pot, place the sugar, two tablespoons of oil, and sesame seeds.

Step 10 : Cook over medium heat until obtaining a dark caramel, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

Step 11 : Reduce the heat to low and, in a bowl with cold water and ice cubes, dip each piece of fruit into the caramel and then into the cold water to harden the caramel.

Step 12 : Remove the apples and bananas from the skewers and serve, garnished with mint leaves.
