Ingredients

2 kilograms of Pork ribs

cup of Hoisin sauce

cup of Honey

¼ cup of Tamari sauce

2 tablespoons of Freshly grated ginger

4 Minced garlic cloves

3 Chopped onion

4 tablespoons of Fresh cilantro

2 Rice vinegar

3 teaspoons of Sugar

4 tablespoons of Soy sauce

3 tablespoons of Sherry

1 teaspoon of Salt

1 cup of Broth

Preparation

Step 1 : Separate the ribs and season with salt and pepper.

Step 2 : In a skillet with oil, sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger for 1 minute over high heat.

Step 3 : Add the soy sauce, pepper, sherry, and sugar, stirring over high heat for another minute.

Step 4 : Continue stirring over medium heat for 2 minutes.

Step 5 : Add the broth and place the ribs in the mixture, stirring until they are coated with sauce.

Step 6 : Reduce the heat and let cook gently.

Step 7 : Cover the pot and cook for another 20 minutes.

Step 8 : When uncovering the pot, stir the ribs, re-cover, and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 9 : Place the ribs on a baking tray and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.

Step 10 : Brush half of the BBQ sauce over the ribs, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Step 11 : Preheat the grill to 325°F (160°C).

Step 12 : Grill the ribs over indirect heat, covered, for approximately 45 minutes.

Step 13 : Every 15 minutes, turn the ribs and brush on more BBQ sauce.

Step 14 : Continue grilling until the meat thermometer registers 160°F (70°C).

Step 15 : Remove from heat, serve, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro and chopped onion.
