Discover the different ways to infuse Pu Erh, whether using the Western method in a cup or teapot, or with the Gongfu technique in a small teapot or Gaiwan, to fully enjoy its flavors and aroma. Knowing the right temperature and time ensures a perfect infusion and a pleasurable experience in every cup.
Pu Erh can be infused in various ways to highlight its qualities.
In the Western technique, approximately 3 grams of tea are used per 200 ml of water, with a temperature between 90°C and 95°C, and an infusion time of 4 to 5 minutes.
This results in less intense and smoother infusions.
On the other hand, in the Gongfu technique, a small teapot or Gaiwan is used, allowing multiple infusions where each step reveals different nuances of the tea.
Both methods are easy to follow and offer an enriching experience, delivering a delicious and aromatic flavor with each preparation.
