Barbecue is a Chinese dish, made with pork, beef, vegetables, seafood, etc. It has a unique flavor, a long history, a strong aroma, and a delicious taste that can greatly enhance appetite. It is worth mentioning that modern barbecue is not the same as the traditional roasting and burning method.
Barbecue is a special prestigious dish in China; there is a record in "History of Minggong of Good Eating and Drinking" where people enjoy plums in a warm room and eat roasted lamb.
The famous Huangjia barbecue originated in the ancient city of Zhangqiu - Xiuhui Town. The Huang family’s barbecue has been passed down since the Ming Huang ancestral line, with a history of over 300 years. All their roasted pork uses a unique technique; the skin is tender, crispy, fragrant, and tasty. During the Qing Dynasty, it became quite well known among famous merchants like Meng Luochuan, and was praised by Empress Dowager Cixi.
After the reform and opening-up, Wuzhong Huang, a descendant of the Huang family, established the Authentic Huangjia Barbecue House after more than ten years of hard work. The "Wuzhong Huangjia Barbecue" is famous for its fresh aroma, crispy skin, tender meat, and fatty but not greasy texture. The products are exported to Beijing, Tianjin, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, and other locations.
